Tangy garlic cheese bread

Ingredients

Bread (any variety you like). You may use a loaf or separate slices.

1 to 2 heads of garlic (depending on your taste). If you're serving as a side dish use more garlic, but if serving as a light snack use less amounts of garlic, chives and chopped parsley.

1 to 2 sticks of butter

Zest of lemon

Two tablespoons of Cajun spice seasoning

1 cup of grated cheese

Process

Crush the garlic in a mixing bowl and then add cheese, chives, parsley, lemon zest, butter and Cajun spice to it. Set it aside for a while so that all of the ingredients will blend. Take the bread slices and smear the mix over them. If you are using a loaf, slice in the middle and add the mix to create a sandwich. Heat the bread in a pre-heated oven at 200 C for fifteen (15) minutes. Serve warm.

Soft garlic cheese bread

Differing types of cheeses mixed together - One cup (parmesan, feta, and so on)

Butter - Two (2) sticks

Garlic cloves - 15 or 20

Garlic salt - 1 tablespoon

Herbs of your preference - One (1) teaspoon

Milk - One teaspoon

Method

Melt the butter and milk together in a microwave. Allow it to cool down and then add in cheese, crushed garlic, garlic salt and herbs. Mix together and put it in a mixer to produce a smooth butter-like texture and consistency. Smear the mixture on the bread slices. Then wrap the bread slices in silver foil and seal well. You can even add some more cheese on top of the slices. Pre-heat the oven to 220 C and heat the silver foil wrapped bread for fifteen (15) to twenty (20) minutes. Serve warm.

You may also use the soft garlic bread to make chicken or vegetable grilled sandwiches for lunch the following day. Serve the bread accompanied with cucumber dip or salsa and bask in the delicious taste of your evening tea.
