The Skinny On Who Buys Mobile Homes

One can actually turn selling mobile houses into a business if he knows how to define the people he is selling his product to. This process in marketing or sales is known as determining the target market or customer of the product. In order to be able to sell properly, one has to first know who buys mobile homes.

Now the very first step in coming up with the target market of the product, it is vital that one would first know how to do the general profiling process. Now when one would say general profiling process, he would mean getting the basic idea of what the customer is like. This means that he would have to come up with the gender, the age bracket, and the income bracket of the target market at least.

First of all, the sellers must define the general gender of the targeted customer. Now although there are some women who would buy these types of homes, one will observe that it is mostly men who are interested in buying this sort of thing. As for the age bracket, probably the target customer would be from his mid twenties until maybe somewhere in the forties.

Now after determining the age and sex of the customer, the next thing to take note of would be if he can actually afford the product which means that the seller has to know the income bracket of the target. Now mobile houses can actually be bought at a very affordable price as they are much cheaper than real houses. This means that even if one is a blue collar worker, he will definitely be able to afford it.

Now after knowing the basic demographics of the customer, the next thing to take note of would be knowing the behavior. Now by knowing this, the seller will go on to the more elaborate details of how he acts. He will have a deeper understanding by knowing the details.

So first since a mobile home is obviously movable, then the seller will probably be looking at a person who moves around a lot. If one has a job or is in a situation wherein he has to move to places or states easily, then he will be the target. These types of movable houses will make moving much easier for them.

Of course one has to also note whether the person loves to travel or not. The mobile house will enable travelers to be able to travel around from state to state in comfort. So aside from those who need to move a lot, this will also be beneficial to those who love to travel a lot too.

So in a nutshell, this is the customer profile of the target customer. If one would sell his trailer, he should most likely sell to a man who is in his late twenties and above, and has at least a blue collar job. He should also move around a lot, and of course loves to travel to different places in comfort. Knowing this, one can actually rotate his marketing campaign around the customer profile.
