By Stephanie West

There are three major monotheistic religions on planet earth. They are Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Christianity has billions of followers, all over the world. There are two major Christian denominations. They are Roman Catholicism and Protestantism. The Roman Catholic Church has its headquarters in Rome, Italy. Protestantism was formed because of the Great Reformation. The Episcopal Church is a Protestant faith. The others include Baptist, Anglican, Lutheran and Presbyterian churches among others. Some Christian believers in America follow Episcopal Church in Lake Norman NC. This is a Bible believing church. A true Christian believes fully in the Bible.

The Episcopal Church follows the Bible 100%. That is the reason why there is no compromise when it comes to Biblical principles. Christianity and the Bible are inseparable. The true believer will acquaint himself with the various Biblical messages, concepts, and tenets. Of course, there is the need to read and memorize the Ten Commandments. One should also apply these commandments in his daily life.

Great men have risen and fall. During the last six thousand years, there has been the rise and fall of many powerful empires including the Roman and the Babylonian empires. These empires have fallen in their splendor but they have left Biblical messages strong and steadfast. The Holy Bible has the Old and the New Testaments. All these testaments are vital.

The main concern of the New Testament is the gospels and the epistles. These deal with the early spread of Christianity. Over the last a thousand years, Christianity has spread to all the four corners of planet earth. A core Biblical prophecy says that the end of the earth will only come after Christianity has spread all over the earth.

There are many great Biblical messages that are found between the New Testament Books of Mathew and Revelation. Of course, the book of Revelation marks the culmination of time. It highlights the New Jerusalem, the eternal home of believers. The gospels introduce the issue of baptism. It is important to be baptized so that to start a brand new life.

After baptism, one is required to live a holy life. That will involve totally shunning sin. It is only by avoiding sin that a believer will be able to qualify for eternal life in heaven. There is a beautiful place that awaits those who live a righteous life. Such a place is paradise and it has golden streets.

One should strive to be as righteous as possible. However, it is possible to stumble. That does not mean that one should give up on his faith. After stumbling, an individual should rise up and dust himself and continue with the journey of faith. Of course, it is always good to repent fully after committing any sin.

One needs physical food so that he can be able to carry out the physical tasks of life. However, there is also need for spiritual food. That is due to the fact that man cannot live on bread alone. He will also have to nourish his spirit. Spiritual health is just as important as or even more important than physical food.
